What's up, Stonedvet Army?
Have you ever thought you should be farther along in life by now?
I think that's a pretty common thought, especially as we start to get older. Almost as if there is an internal clock ticking away, and your soul starts screaming at you.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?"
Then all the self-limiting beliefs and thoughts start rushing in, like:
I don't even know what I want to do.
I don't have the funds.
I don't know how to start.
I don't have any help.
The world is crazy right now.
There's a pandemic happening.
Or any other limiting belief that might enter your mind.
Hell, some people have never even thought about what they want in life.
What dreams and desires do you have in your life?
Do you want to travel, see the world?
Do you want to build a business?
Give to others?
Help your community?
Seriously, stop for a second, think about it...
If you had NO limitations, you could do anything, be anyone, go anywhere...
Who would you be, where would you go, what would you do?
Now that you've had a second to think about it let me ask you this...
Why do you want it?
Ultimately if you woke up in the morning, someone waved a magic wand, and you had everything you ever wanted, what would it do for you?
And, why is that important?
Now, let me ask you another question if that's cool.
...and please be honest with yourself, because this one is important...
Are you living a life congruent with what you want, or are you living a life congruent with what you have?
Now, let me ask you something else.
Has anyone in the history of the world ever achieved what you want out of life?
This question, allows you to quickly look for the clues that have been left along the way, and allow you to not get stuck in your head.
Because, I'm sure there has been at least one person, if not many people have done it.
But if you're a trailblazer with a new idea that no one has ever considered before, please share!
The world needs people like you!
But, if you want something that has been accomplished, you can more easily reverse engineer what has worked previously, and develop a roadmap to your success.
Jim Rohn said, "Success leaves clues."
So, what are the traits and characteristics of someone who has achieved the things in life you want?
What does their morning routine look like?
What do they eat?
Who do they hang out with?
How do they dress?
What do they read?
What conversations do they have?
What conversations do they have with themself in their head?
Here's the thing, the better you can figure out what they've done and mimic what successful people have done, the more quickly and effortlessly you can achieve it yourself.
Who do you need to become?
What skills do you need to learn?
Who do you need to know?
"Success is my duty!" ~ Grant Cardone
Like an actor in a movie or play, fully embody the traits and habits of the role you're playing, and do not break character. If you do this long enough, you will become the character you are playing, becoming your new identity.
Think about it...
Anyone can become anything they choose. (Yes, even you too 😉)
Is there an unlearnable skill?
If you wanted to learn to cook a gourmet meal, could you not learn to make it?
If you want to learn to work on your vehicle, is it an impossible skill to master?
If you want to learn to play an instrument, is it unattainable?
Have the intention to become what you want. Pay attention to what it takes to have what you want. Watch your inner thoughts and outer actions.
You can craft the life you want and become anything YOU choose in no time.
