Learn How To Tap Into Success In Advance Like A Pro

Hello Stonedvet Army!

Today, I wanted to share with you a gift.

I was recently given a tool that has allowed me to tap into success better than anything else I've ever tried.

So if you're cool with it, I'd like to take a minute to talk about success, more importantly, how you can tap into success in ANY place in your life where you believe success is lacking.

But, before we get into the four steps, here's the reality...

Most people are not living the life of their dreams. They are not fit and healthy. Nor are they in the relationship they want, earning the money they want. The sad truth is, most people are not going to succeed.

So, if you're going to become the exception, not the rule, you first have to understand what stops people from succeeding.

Tony Robbins recently shared a framework for success that I think every veteran should have!

Everyone wants to achieve more, and we all must start somewhere in our journey to success.

Execution trumps knowledge any day of the week.” ~ Tony Robbins

So, how do we convince ourselves to execute? How do we get ourselves to take massive action?

It starts with this Success Cycle tool I'm about to share.

I'm sure that there will be people who won't use this or find value in it. I'm not talking to them. Right now, I'm speaking directly to that one person who is ready for change.

Tony Robbins says, "Results come from an obsession to getting yourself to take action."

So, why is it that people who have all the resources to succeed can fail?
I'm sure you've heard a story of someone who had tremendous family support, ample love, an excellent education, and despite everything, they spent their life getting in and out of trouble.

Then there are other people in life that seem to have been beat down—those who have experienced mental, emotional, and physical abuse.

Isn't it funny how many times those are the individuals that we all know about?
The people that shift our culture.

Here's a secret.

It has nothing to do with where you start, or with what resources you have or do not have. Resources are rarely ever the problem. The problem is that people are not nearly resourceful enough.

So, how do you get resourceful enough? What does it take to succeed?

The answer, according to Tony Robbins, is massive, relentless action.

Anybody who can constantly show uptake action, adjust their approach when something doesn't work, and try it again slightly differently. Those are the individuals that you and I both know will succeed.

Like the Marines say, "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome." But, it takes more than just telling yourself, "I can do this." It takes another level of dedication.

What's it going to take for you to jump into action when you're feeling fearful?

How about when you're feeling uncertain?

These are the obstacles you've got to transcend, even before you get to the skills.

If not, the abilities will be there, but you won't perform. You have to decide upfront, "Why am I doing this?"

Jim Rohn used to teach, "Reasons come first, answers come second." he'd also say, "If you get a strong enough "why" to do something, you can figure out how to do anything."

But, here’s the part where people get stuck, many people want just to make more  money, but money is not enough. If you're going to help yourself follow through, you will need more substantial reasoning than money.

It has to be something down deep in your core.

Sometimes we get doubtful. We get in that place where we find ourselves unable to execute.

So, the question becomes, “How can I get out of this quickly?

That's what this post is about!

But, I don't want to give you this knowledge so that you're informed!

Please use it.

I want you to take action.

I'm sure that if you've read this far, you're going to take this tool plus massive action to create an abundance of success in your life.

So I'm going to ask that you start taking action now!

Get a pen and paper.

On that paper, draw four squares, two on top and two on the bottom.

In the top left-hand edge, write the word potential. In the top right-hand corner, pen the word action. In the bottom right-hand corner, spell the word results. And in the bottom left-hand side, write the word, belief.

Next, draw arrows clockwise between the four squares as pictured.

What's the potential of any human being?

What are individuals capable of?

Here's the thing, what people can do is phenomenal.

What they will do is usually disappointing.

In his 40-year career, Tony says the biggest lesson he has learned is, "It is not that people are not capable. It's because fear gets in the way of their taking action. They're afraid of failure or afraid of rejection. Fear that it will not work. Then they let the fear part of the mind take over, lose momentum, and then get stuck.”

But why, if people have unlimited potential, don't most people get more favorable results?

Some may say, "It's because they aren't taking enough action."

And, they may very well be correct, but is it possible to take massive action and still get limited results?

Yes.

The real secret to creating successful forward momentum is certainty or belief.

Tony says, "When people say to me something like, "I tried that, and it didn't work." I always think, "Bullshit." What is trying? Trying is you're uncertain; you're not sure it's going to work. You have fear."

The real kicker, you can see that uncertainty creates a barrier to unleashing more potential.

So, if you're not sure, how much of your potential do you think you will tap into?

When you're unsure, you're definitely not going to tap your full potential.

When you think you're going to fail or are not sure something will work, are you going to take any massive action or give it everything you've got in the tank?

NO, in the back of your mind, you're thinking, "It may not work out."

You will hold back, protect your mind, save the ego, and protect your emotions. Take little action when you have little certainty. Therefore tap little potential, and get shitty little results.

And when you get shitty results, what happens to your belief?

You guessed it.

People tend to say, "I told you it wouldn't work. I told you it was a waste of time. I told you it wouldn't happen.” And, this is why happy people get happier and sad, and depressed people get more depressed.

All of this is something you can change very quickly when you understand this simple dynamic.

So, what do you want to do?

If you're going in a direction that's making you not succeed, how would you flip it?

Many might say, "I could use more of my potential," but the potential is already there.

You can say, "I'll take more action." Great idea, but massive action with uncertainty is what happens when you say, "I'm trying.” Trying is like, "I'm uncertain. I tried it. I took a little bit of action and got shitty little results. I tried it a few times, and it didn't work."

So, please don't waste your time doing that here.

Did you know Michael Jordan, every day in the off-season, made 1500 shots? He would get up at five AM, practice six days a week, make 1500 shots a day.

That was his secret to how to look magical when he got up there!

And you can do all these fantastic things too.

We've got to change your certainty.

How do we do that?

Glad you asked!

We do it by getting results in advance in the mind.

I'm sure you've heard that the mind does not know the difference between something you imagine and something you experience.

I want to show you how that works with a demonstration that Tony teaches.

I'm going to ask you to stand up wherever you are.

Are you standing up?

Come on, let's do it.

Put your feet together, pointing straight ahead. Point your arm and index finger straight in front of you.

Now, without moving your feet, attempt to turn as far as you can comfortably without hurting yourself. Notice the location where your finger ends.

Got it?

Good!

Now, close your eyes, let's do the simplest damn thing in the world.

I want you to imagine your fingers coming up again. Keeping your eyes closed, feet straight ahead. Don't lift your hand, but make it feel real, see it happening in your mind, and feel as if your arm and finger is coming up, and then see and feel yourself turn twice as far this time.

I know it seems simple.

Do it again in your mind now.

Imagine the finger coming up again in your mind, feet are straight, and you feel yourself turning twice as far this time.

You're doing great!

One more time, have the finger come up, and this time imagine you turn all the way around like an owl. Your finger goes all the way to the front, all the way around, and you feel it, and it's great.

Now is time for the magic!

Open your eyes.

Let's repeat the exercise with your physical body again, take your arm and finger, lift them straight up naturally, and now turn comfortably as far as you can and see how far you go this time.

Notice where you stop now.

You went further, didn't you?

Then the question becomes, why?

Could you have turned that far the first time?

Could you have gotten that same result?

The answer is, of course, you could, but you didn't because you have a set of beliefs about even how far you can turn. We have unconscious thoughts about many things.

What happens when you succeed, when you get a result, or you imagine a result like you just did?

It made your body more certain. It was more confident. It turned further. It tapped more of its potential. You took more action. You got a better result.

I bet if you did it again, you'd go even further, especially if you visualized it a few times.

How do we get that certainty?

Just start with momentum, see the result in advance, own that result over and over and over again. Where focus goes, energy flows, so you've got to focus on what you really want, clearly. That kind of focus is what brings results.

Jim Rohn used to say, "repetition is the mother of skill. If you've done it enough with enough emotion, it's going to stick, and you're going to master it."

I want you to have the victories you deserve, but you're going to have to get yourself better habits. Once you can get it to be an addiction, you'll keep getting more and more insights and improving more and more.

If you've played full out and done the exercise, you've already experienced the fact that your brain doesn't recognize the difference between reality and imagination. So, get a strong WHY (I will be writing about this next week), imagine your victories before you start a task, unlock your unlimited potential, take massive action with certainty, and get the fantastic results you deserve in your life!
